Below this concrete walkway is an underground tunnel that connects Alden B. Dow’s Home to his Architectural Studio
Have you ever wanted to explore and discover a hidden underground passage way? “The Tunnel” is just one of the many captivating and enchanting surprises of the Alden B. Dow Home and Studio.
This private area is rarely opened for viewing, but for the months of February, March, and April; Saturday tours will include a trip down and through the underground tunnel that connects the Home to the Studio. Used to house many mechanical elements of the structure, the tunnel was occasionally the site of fun for the Dow family including a haunted-maze Halloween party.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors (over 60), and $7 for students (over 8 years old)
Tours are approximately 1-1/2 hours long.
