Fourth Wall Films partnered with the Michigan Barn Preservation Network (MBPN) to produce the newly released film titled The Barn Raisers. The movie includes barns from the Midwest, including Iowa, Wisconsin, Kansas, Ohio, and Michigan. The Michigan portion features members of the MBPN, and was largely filmed during a barn tour in Leelanau County.
To celebrate the film, the MPBN role, and barns in general, the MBPN is partnering with the Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm to premier the movie on February 24, 2017 (a second showing will occur on May 5 in Kalamazoo during the MBPN conference).
The film will air on PBS stations around the Midwest soon.
Regular museum admission rates apply – Museum members are free; Non-Member Adults $5 and Student/Seniors $3.
